Do the contestants actually STARVE?

For the most part, no. Each tribe is given an unlimited amount of water and a limited amount of rice, which they must cook themselves. Throughout the game, they will compete for adequate amounts of food. Contestants are also supplied with daily multi-vitamins.

For sleeping arrangements, are the contestants separated by sex?

Yes. Each tribe will receive two tents – one for the females and one for the males. They are required to sleep in their separate tents.

Are the contestants in danger of dehydration?

Both tribes are supplied with unlimited amounts of water throughout the camp as well as before and during certain challenges. Part of the goal of this camp is to ensure a safe experience for everyone involved.

When contestants are voted out of the tribe, will they actually be sent home?

No. When a contestant is voted out of the game, they will immediately be given a good meal, along with their clothes. Unfortunately, there is not a shower on campus, so the contestants will need to arrange a ride home to freshen up. After that, they are invited back to the camp to help out as crewmembers.

For crewmembers, is there access to a shower?

Unfortunately, no. Crewmembers will have to make arrangements to go home on a dily basis to freshen up, but are required to return to camp.
